Obituary of Anna Stetski

It is with deep sadness that our family announces that Anna passed away peacefully on Friday, June 1st, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Anna was a special friend to many people and her outgoing personality will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Anna was born on the family homestead near Canora, Saskatchewan, and lived in Calgary since 1955. Anna was an active member of the Queens and Jacks Square Dance Club for over thirty years and an avid bridge player. Anna is lovingly remembered and survived by; her best friend and companion of twelve years, Carman Byler; her dedicated children, daughter Darlene (Gary) Shantz and son Avery (Sandra) Stetski; granddaughter Connie (Clayton) Roska; her great-granddaughters Alysha, Mikaela, Bailey, and Morgan Roska; her brother Nick (Lila) Fostey; step-grandchildren, Steven Shantz, Nancy (Rick) Dennis and their children, Katie and Justin and by many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her loving husband Fred Stetski, sister Victoria, brother Henry, and her parents. A Celebration of Anna’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
