Obituary of Calvin Douglas Harvey

It is with immense sadness that we share with you the passing of our little man, Calvin, taken away from us so suddenly and tragically on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the age of 3 years. We were tremendously blessed to have him in our lives and hearts for just 3 short, precious years. Calvin was a rare breed and a “big man” who charmed everyone he met with a twinkle in his eye. He loved to help everyone and had only just started on his journey of life. He made a wonderful impact on everyone that met him and it is so unfortunate that more people did not have the opportunity to share his infectious personality and see his impish smile. Calvin leaves to mourn his loving parents Michael and Mandy; twin sister Brooke and older sister Anna; paternal grandparents Martin and Liz Harvey of Okotoks and maternal grandmother Deborah O’Connor (Dan) of Hamilton, Ontario. Calvin will also be greatly missed by his godmother Auntie Karen and uncle Jeff Part of Calgary and his cousins Jack and Fiona; godfather Peter Nicholson; great grandparents Norman and Elsie George of Cornwall, England and great grandmother Virginia Crawford of New Brunswick. Calvin will also be very much missed by his many great uncles and aunts and second cousins in Calgary, New Brunswick and England. Calvin was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Douglas Campbell. Funeral Services for Calvin will be held at McInnis and Holloway’s Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive) on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 12:30pm with graveside service immediately following at the Okotoks Cemetery, Big Rock Lane. All are invited to join the family for a reception at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 20 Banister Gate, Okotoks, celebrating Calvin commencing at 2:30pm.
