Obituary of Glenn Campbell
Glenn Campbell, beloved husband of Jean Campbell of Calgary passed away peacefully at the George Boyack Care Centre on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the age of 91 years after a short illness. A veteran of World War II, Glenn was an aircraft mechanic for Air Canada, retiring in 1976. After retiring Glenn and Jean moved to Calgary where they resided in the Glamorgan area.
Besides his loving wife Jean, Glenn is survived by his five children, Miles Campbell, Glenda (Dennis) Allen, Debbie (Jack) Duffenais, Joanne Gallant and Karen Cavers; seven grandchildren, Melanie, Steve, Kimberly, Laura, Shelley, Nicole, Vicky and Miranda; six great-grandchildren, Tessa, Rylee, Hannah, Owen, Rebecca and Zachary. Glenn was predeceased by his first wife Bobbie and his grandson Ryan Gallant.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) today, May 24, 2007 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, May 25, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow in the Field of Honour at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
