Obituary of Gladys Mary Clemmer
Gladys Mary Clemmer, of Calgary passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Harbours of Newport Senior’s Residence at the age of 96 years.
Gladys was born on December 22, 1910 in Camrose, AB. She was an active member of the Grace Presbyterian Church for sixty years and a Charter Member and Past Noble Grand of Hillhurst Rebekah Lodge #116. Gladys will be remembered by many as one of Calgary’s original Food Demonstrators.
Gladys is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Darlene, of Calgary, AB; her daughter and son-in-law Gayle and Jim Dunsmoor, of Surrey, BC; and four grandchildren Michael, Andrea, Quentin and Marya; as well as one great-grandchild Shane. She is also survived by her sister Mabelle Barry of California; brother-in-law Edward (Ann), of Vancouver, BC; and sister-in-law Jane Clemmer, of Ottawa, ON. Gladys was predeceased by her husband Harold G. Clemmer.
