Obituary of Rick Lund
Rick Lund beloved husband of Hope Lund of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2007 at the age of 50 years.
Rick was born on October 9, 1956 in Kelvington, SK and he grew up on the family farm. In the mid 1970’s Rick came to Calgary and he worked at a few different jobs, but most of his career was spent with Vans Pizza and Steak House. In 1990 he met his wife to be Hope, and on September 26, 1992 they were married. Rick’s passion in life was spending time with his family and his highlight was their trip to Disneyworld.
Besides his loving wife Hope, Rick is survived by his son Mitchell and daughter Michelle. He will also be lovingly remembered by his step father Ivan McHattie; father-in-law Bill (Adella) Arich; his sister Eialeen (Paul) Hanson; his brother-in-law Warren (Dawn) Arich and by his nieces and nephews, Emily, Crystal, Birch and Ashley. He was predeceased by his parents Gilbert and Violet Lund.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, May 25, 2007 at 2:30p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
