Obituary of Theresa Szulczewski

It is with great sadness that our dear sister and friend, Theresa, passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Centre on Friday May 18, 2007 at the age of 56 years. Theresa was born in Taber, Alberta on July 30, 1950 and has resided in Calgary since 1972. She was employed with the Department of National Defence (Finance) and the Calgary Health Region. Theresa’s passions included gardening, decorating, sewing, reading, baking, renovation and entertaining. Theresa will always be remembered as a wonderful daughter, sister, and friend – a talented, intelligent, kind, gentle and compassionate individual. Theresa will be lovingly remembered by sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara and Ursula and Bill. Also left to mourn are cousins in Chicago, New Jersey, Poland, and numerous extended family and many special friends. We cannot forget to mention Theresa’s dear and close companion, Cookie. Theresa was predeceased by her parents, Adam and Kazimiera. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church (2223 – 34th Street S.W.) on Friday, May 25, 2007 at 11:00am.
