Obituary of Emile Gauthier

Emile Gauthier, beloved father of Elizabeth (Steve) Redmond; grandfather of Jessica (Jim) Wolff and Christopher (Cassia) Redmond; loving brother of Leon (Evelyn); and uncle of Marie, Michael, Peter, and Christopher, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2007 at the age of 94 years. Emile will always be remembered for his sense of humour and love of life and family. Anyone who knew him said he was happiest working at his woodworking or holding onto a fishing rod. He loved fine woodworking and being in the outdoors fishing or hunting. He often held court and regaled us with his stories of hunting and fishing in the north country of Quebec.
