Obituary of Naomie Seme
Naomie Seme, beloved wife of Paul Melle, of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at the age of 56 years.
With immense sadness the family of Naomie Seme announces her peaceful passing on May 1, 2007 at Rosedale Hospice in Calgary Alberta. Naomie is survived by her husband Paul Melle, and her three children: Nadia Seme, Jean-Pierre Seme Jr, Rebecca Seme, Grand-daughter Indeka Seme; and is further survived by a very large extended family including siblings: Job Charles (Brother) Anite Charles (Sister) Termene Romain (Sister) Percide Romain (Sister) Supremise Romain (Sister). Sauveta, Andrew and Sophie Melle. Naomie was born in Cap Haitien, Haiti and then immigrated to Montreal Quebec Canada, met and married Jean-Pierre Seme Sr, had been blessed with their first gift Nadia, then the family decided to head west and made a stop in Lethbridge Alberta where they were blessed with their second gift Jean-Pierre Jr, and then finally settling in Calgary Alberta where they were blessed with their third child Rebecca. Naomie was a tireless worker who worked in many various organizations in Calgary, but had spent almost 20 years at the Rockyview Hospital. She enjoyed love, life and laughter with all her family and friends. Naomie was an active and vibrant member of the Garden Road SDA Church (formerly Pineridge Church) She demonstrated her steadfast faith and was an example of perseverance, strength and love.
Those wishing to honor Naomie’s legacy may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Thursday, May 10, 2007 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at Garden Road SDA Church (243017 Garden Road N.E.) on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 12:00 p.m.
