Obituary of Rosa Scalise

Rosa Scalise of Calgary passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 27, 2007 at the age of 92 years. Rosa was born in San Giovanni in Fiore, Italy. She was a loving wife, mother, nonna and bis-nonna. Rosa is survived by her children, Caterina Scalise-Greco (Antonio), Sam (Isabel), Saverio (Theresa) and daughter-in-law Antonietta. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rosa was predeceased by her husband Giovanni; a son Domenico; two daughters, Filomena and Maria; son-in-law Antonio; four sisters and a great-grandson.
