Obituary of Helen Edith McCaghren

Our beloved mother, Helen Edith McCaghren of Calgary passed away on Friday, April 27, 2007 at the age of 87 years. Helen was born on March 7, 1920 in Craigmyle, AB and was raised there as well. She moved to Stauffer, AB in 1945, where she met her husband Hershel. In 1962 they moved to Calgary. Helen worked for many years as a cook in several senior citizen homes in Calgary. She is survived by a daughter Hazel Unrau; three sons and daughters-in-law, Rob and Jan, Ken and Bev, Walter and Vicky McCaghren, all of Calgary; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Helen will be sadly missed by all who knew her; we love you Mom.
