Obituary of William Bruce
Bill Bruce, beloved husband of Norma Bruce, passed away peacefully in Calgary on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the age of 75 years, after a long illness.
Bill was born in Toronto, attended Riverdale Collegiate, and graduated from University of Toronto with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He later traveled the world as a respected pipeline engineer, and was a partner in a firm dedicated to this specialized field. He is survived by his loving wife, Norma; his children and their spouses, Donald and Lijana of Kelowna, Sharon and Mike of Calgary; and John of Calgary; grandchildren, Ashley, Ethan and Carson; and Bill’s best buddy, Taffey. He was predeceased by his father Alex; mother Kathleen; and brother Lou. Bill had a zest for life and will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
