Obituary of Julia Belle McCorquodale

Julia Belle McCorquodale of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2007 at the age of 84 years. Julia was born on May 3, 1922 in Oxford County, ON. After she completed Normal School, Julia began teaching in a one-room school in Lakeside, ON. She married Bill McCorquodale in Ontario and together they raised their family in Mississauga. She was an active lifelong member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of First United Church. Her later working years were spent at Mississauga Hospital. Julia moved to Calgary in 1994 to be closer to her family and made many new friends. Julia is survived by a son Greg McCorquodale; two daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Werner Endl, Elaine and Glen Jensen, all of Calgary; seven grandchildren, Sarah, James, Andrew, Kevin, Marc, Michelle, and Kevin; and three great-grandchildren, Josiah, Aaron and Rachel. She was predeceased by her husband Bill in1971; son Robert in 1990; and two granddaughters, Kayla and Liane in 1998.
