Obituary of Dale Thomas Joynt
It is with profound sadness that the family of Dale Joynt announces his sudden passing on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at the age of 52 years.
Dale was born in Sioux Lookout, ON and grew up in Winnipeg, MB. He moved to Calgary in 1979 and worked as an iron worker before returning to school in 1985. He completed his Business Administration Diploma at Mount Royal College in 1987 and achieved his CMA designation in 1989. Dale worked for twenty years in the Oil and Gas Industry, most recently as CFO at Blue Mountain Energy. Dale loved golf and was a member of Lynx Ridge Golf Club, but his greatest passion was reserved for his family. He felt his greatest moment in life was the birth of his two children who brought him endless joy. Dale is survived by his two loving children, Dustin and Kristyn; and his wife Cheryl. He is also survived by his mother Nadia Alexander; and brothers, Cliff and Real Joynt. He will be dearly missed by his niece, nephews, in-laws and several close friends. Dale was predeceased by his father Clifford Joynt; and brother James Joynt.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
