Obituary of Derek Crawley

Derek Crawley, beloved husband of Maureen Crawley of Langdon, Alberta, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 from complications due to cancer at the age of 60 years. Derek was born in 1946 in Leeds, England. He married Maureen in 1970, and they immigrated to Canada in 1975 with their son Martin. They had two more sons – James and Robert – in Canada. Derek’s family was his greatest joy, and he will be sadly missed. He had an infectious sense of humour and was loved deeply, not only by his family, but by all those who came in contact with him. Besides his loving wife, Maureen, Derek is also survived by his loving sons, Martin, James and Robert; his daughter-in-law Crystal; his two grandchildren, Shaye, age 10, and Alyssa, age 7; his brother Ron; and his sister Joan.
