Obituary of Joseph Charles Muloin

Joseph (Joe) Charles Muloin, beloved husband of Sylvia Joy Muloin of Calgary (Indus) passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at the age of 66 years. Joe was born on April 29, 1940 in Winnipegosis, Manitoba. Stationed in Camp Borden, ON, he served in the Armoured Corp and received an honourable discharge in 1961. Joe and Sylvia were married in the Roman Catholic Church on September 16, 1961, and raised two successful children. They lived in various areas throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC, before settling in Indus in 2003. Joe?s welding career spanned 40 years, but he had other interests as well. He sponsored many sports organizations, was an accomplished musician, and had a passion for horseback riding and driving his motorcycle. Joe helped out anyone in need, and had a special fondness for children and dogs. Besides his loving wife Sylvia, Joe will be sadly missed by his children and their spouses, Stephen and Pamela Muloin of Spruce Grove, AB, and Lavonah and Bob Madden of Antigonish, NS; five grandchildren, Kirstie, Shannon, Jamie, Rob, and Tom; four great grandchildren, Zachary, Brooklyn, Kyley, and Robby; and two god children, Nicole and Tullee. He also leaves his father Joseph Robert Muloin of Castor, AB; Lorraine Stoller of Alliance; Lucille James of Castor, AB; Laurent and Hilda Muloin of Shell Lake, SK; numerous nieces and nephews; and many valued friends from all across Canada. Joe was predeceased by his mother Cecile, brother Olivier and sister Eva. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Monday, April 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
