Obituary of Henry Tetz

Henry Tetz, beloved husband of Mary Tetz, of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Besides his loving wife Mary, Henry is survived by two sons, Terry (Carmen) of Calgary and Jim (Paula) of Edmonton; four grandchildren, Darrell (Katrina), Stefanie, Jennifer and Josh. He is also survived by three sisters, Emma Wallz, Lydia Cook and Irene Schneider; two brothers, William (Diane) and Edwin (Jean) and a sister-in-law Clara Tetz (brother Albert, predeceased 1990) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Henry was born in Three Hills, AB. He moved to Calgary in 1949 and worked for the City of Calgary (Streets and Roads Division) for thirty-five years, retiring in 1986. In 1953 he married Mary Borgardt and they had fifty-three wonderful years together. Henry and Mary were among the founding members of Centre Street Church. Funeral Services will be held at Centre Street Church, Main Campus (3900 – 2nd Street N.E.) on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
