Obituary of Nick Kamad

Nicholas Kamad of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2007 at the age of 81 years. Nick was born in Kenora, ON. In 1944 he joined the Navy and served during World War II. Nick had been a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion for sixty years and had also worked for the Royal Canadian Legion in Toronto. He was employed with Canada Post, and had also been a Carpenter in his younger years. Nick is survived by his brother Mike Kamad of Calgary. He is also survived by two cousins, Bill Kamad and Rose Matson both of Thunder Bay and by his close friends Mr. and Mrs. Ron Rainville, Mr. Ed Barlow, Gail Farago and Frances Boledovic. He was predeceased by his parents, Dan and Rose Kamad; his brother Basil Kamad and by his sister Catherine Kamad. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY?S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow in Holy Family Cemetery at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
