Obituary of Olga Vaselenak
Olga Vaselenak of Calgary passed away on Monday, April 16, 2007 at the age of 85 years.
Olga was born in Lethbridge, AB and resided in Banff, AB; Vancouver, BC; returned to Lethbridge and finally settled in Calgary. She worked in the restaurant business for many years, was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion #1, and was a long time blood donor. Olga enjoyed travelling, was a loyal Calgary Flames fan and had a passion for gardening.
She will be sadly missed by her sister Joann Donaldson of Calgary; her niece Joan Rebstock (Henry) of Calgary; great niece Joann Rebstock of Japan and numerous relatives of Lethbridge, AB.
A private family service was held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on April 18, 2007. In memory of Olga, donations can be made to the Calgary Humane Society. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
