Obituary of Edna Leggatt

Edna passed away peacefully on Friday, April 13th, 2007 at the age of 85 years with all of her family at her side at the Rockyview Hospital. Edna is survived by her sister Margie Dickson; her son John McGarvie; granddaughters, Laura McGarvie and Joanna Hirner (McGarvie) and great-granddaughter Ava Hirner (McGarvie). She will also be forever remembered by her nephews, Kent Dickson, Mike Langfeldt; nieces, Diane Frohling, Bev Reed; great-nieces, Andrea & Michelle Langfeldt, Sherri Williamson; great-nephews, Matthew Frohling, Jessie & Adam Reed, Ryan McLay, and long time friends Sharon DeChamplain & Sue Langfeldt. Edna was predeceased by her brothers, Lorne and Jimmy Leggatt and her sisters, Jessie Langfeldt, Mildred Price and Lydia McLay and nephew David McLay. At Edna’s request, there will be no funeral service. A private interment will take place at a later date at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
