Obituary of Ron Coupal

Ron lost his short, courageous battle with cancer on Monday, April 9, 2007, at the age of 58. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sandi, and children Stephanie and Chris. He is also survived by his mother Antonia Coupal of Calgary; brother Dave Coupal of Calgary; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Lucien Coupal and his sister Maxine Barton. Ron was born on September 11, 1948 in Regina, SK, and attended school there until Grade 8 when his family moved to Calgary. He graduated from St. Francis High School and then attended SAIT and received his diploma in Auto Motive Mechanics. Ron and Sandi (Bennett) married in 1983 and they raised their family in Calgary. Ron loved mountain climbing, hang gliding, skiing, camping, gardening and pigeon racing.
