Obituary of Edith Cora Rita Prime

Edie Prime, beloved wife of Stanley Prime, of Airdrie, passed away on Sunday April 8, 2007, at the age of 69 years. Edie was born on October 22, 1937, in Brighton, Nova Scotia. She married Stanley Prime on December 15, 1956, and as Stanley was in the Canadian Military, Edie had the opportunity to live in many cities and countries throughout the world. They especially enjoyed their time in Los Angeles, Comox, BC, and Germany. Edie had a passion for crafts and excelled in many areas, especially oil painting and greeting cards. Edie also loved golfing and double deck Pinochle, of which she holds the family trophy. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Edie is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, Stanley; her son and daughter-in-law Glen and Donna Prime and her daughter and son-in-law Sharon Prime and Darren Morgan; her grandchildren Jerry, Jordan, J’nayia and Tyrin, all of Edmonton. She is also survived by brothers Lovett ‘Bug’ (Betty) Jordan, Arnold (Daisy) Jordan and Ron Jordan; as well as several nieces and nephews. Edie was predeceased by her parents Hilda and Lovett Jordan and sister Phyllis. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Airdrie Funeral Home, 300 Towerlane Drive, AIRDRIE on Friday April 13, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. Graveside service will follow in Airdrie Cemetery.
