Obituary of Agnes Lauritzen
Agnes Halliday Lauritzen (Nan) of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the age of 83 years. Nan immigrated to Calgary from Scotland in 1947. She enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, scrabble and jigsaw puzzles. Nan loved all animals whether they were hers or not.
Nan is survived by her daughter Kathleen and two grandsons, Travis and Matthew all of Calgary; brother and sister-in-law, Alec and Julia Irving of Scotland; nieces and nephews in Scotland and Denmark as well as numerous cousins in Canada. She was predeceased by her son Peter in 1976 and Harold, her husband of forty-three years in 1996.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. A Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
