Obituary of Elsie Theriault
Elsie Theriault (nee Curtis) passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2007. Elsie was born to Joseph and Jean Curtis in Edmonton and raised in Redwater. In 1941, Elsie graduated as a registered nurse from the combined psychiatric and general nursing course in Ponoka and at the Holy Cross Hospital on Calgary. Between 1942-1961 Elsie worked as a private duty nurse at the Baker Sanatorium, Vulcan Hospital, and the Holy Cross Hospital. From 1962-1982 Elsie worked as a registered psychiatric nurse at the Calgary General Hospital.
Elsie was predeceased by her loving husband Marcel in 1991. She will be forever missed by her beloved daughters, Lynn Barnes of Nanaimo, BC and Louise LeCaine (Phil) of Calgary, and her precious grandchildren Jeremy, Carl, and Shannon.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (15 Templebow Road N.E.) on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at 3:00 p.m.
