She attended St. Mark’s Elementary, St. Martha’s Middle School and was a graduate of Father Lacombe High School. She attended Mount Royal College and attained a certificate in homeopathic medicine. She excelled in many areas such as cheerleading, band, baseball and her many accomplishments were achieved because of her strong will. The one musical instrument she chose to play was the tuba, simply because it was bigger than she and no one else wanted to play the Tuba. DawnLynn was runner-up in the Miss Teen Calgary Pageant in 1991. Her smile and laughter were infectious, as was her kind and caring manner. Her dress and style was one of a kind, and only she could get away with her unique attire. On a recent trip to L.A. while out strolling Rodeo Drive, people complimented her creative ensemble. DawnLynn had a great love for animals and leaves behind her precious cats, China, Cheese, Deadalous. She was employed as a manager with Japan Camera and the Magic Room in Calgary. In 2005 she embarked on a new professional trade as a Scaffolder with the Carpenters Union and headed to Grande Prairie, Dow Chemical, Petro Canada in Edmonton and Suncor in Ft. McMurray.
Her thrill for height and excitement lead her on a journey of bungee jumping and zip lining as well as conquering the Luge at C.O.P. in February of 2007 at whirlwind speeds.
