Obituary of Molly Borysowski

Molly Borysowski beloved and devoted wife of the late Isaac Borysowski passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 1, 2007 after a lengthy illness at the Rockyview General Hospital. Molly was born in Ratno, Poland and arrived in Calgary late 1948 where she and Isaac joined Molly’s sister and brother-in-law Sarah and Hymie Steinberg and family. Her nieces and nephews were an important part of her life. Molly’s traditional Jewish baking was present at all the family holidays and was asked for year round. Molly was an observant Jewish woman, known for her generosity among her family, the Jewish community and the general community. She was a member of the Beth Tzedec Synagogue, Calgary Hadassah Wizo and a valued member of the Calgary Jewish community. Molly leaves to mourn her loss, nieces and nephews, Norman (Rosslyn) Steinberg, Frances Steinberg, and Harold Junowitz of New York; as well as her devoted great nieces and nephews, Dori-ann, Abby, Cari and Craig Steinberg of Calgary and their spouses and children, Marni and Stacy Steinberg of Toronto, Jacob and Sari Steinberg and family and David and Laurie Junowitz and son all of New York City. Molly was a special aunt to all of them. She also leaves many family and friends in Israel and Poland. Molly was predeceased by her nephew William Steinberg. Graveside Services were held on Monday, April 2, 2007at the Jewish Cemetery (30th Avenue & Erlton Street S.W.). A very special thank you to Dr. Patrick Wong and Dr. Dan Botha, caregivers Jocelyn, Gina, Merlita, Helen and Cheryl and the nurses of Unit 82 at the Rockyview General Hospital.
