Obituary of Jacqueline Gawley

Surrounded by her family, Jackie passed away at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary on Friday, March 30, 2007 at the age of 89 years. Jackie was born in Quebec and resided in Gravelbourg, Regina and Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan before settling in Calgary. She will be lovingly remembered for her selfless dedication, love and caring for her family. Her sharp mind and quick wit will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Jackie is survived by her children, Allan (Margaret), Rene (Barbara), Helena, Rita (Bill), Johann (Richard) and Kathleen (Mark); six grandchildren, James (Trena), Dan (Lorna), Tracy (Murray), Jennifer (Jeff), Michael, Ashley, Heather (Jamie), Elise (Jarrett), Kyle and Blaise; eight great-grandchildren and special family friend Janet. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas; son Joseph; brothers, Joseph, Jean-Paul, Charles and Claude; sisters Madeleine, Gertrude and Jeanine and grand daughter Alison. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) today, April 2, 2007 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive & Northland Drive N.W.) on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
