Obituary of Felix Karl Rohmer

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Felix Rohmer on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at the Chinook Hospice in Calgary at the age of 72 years. Felix was born in Austria on February 27, 1935, and was raised in the country side surrounding Innsbruck. He worked his entire life in the hospitality industry; using his career as an opportunity to work in several countries, including England, Kuwait, and Canada’s Arctic. Many people in Calgary will remember Felix from his years at the Prairie House Deli. Felix will be lovingly remembered by his wife Roxanna; his beloved children, Peter and Ashley all of Calgary. He is also survived by his daughter Heidi Lewis and her family of England as well as his sister Elisabeth of Austria. Felix will be deeply missed. We will cherish our life together. Funeral Services will be held at Knox United Church (506 – 4th Street S.W.) on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Drew Strickland, Presider.
