Obituary of Thelma Cunliffe

Thelma Cunliffe of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at the age of 88 years. Thelma was in born in England in 1919. Not only was Thelma a war bride, but she was a Nurse during World War II at the Hospital for Sick Children in England. In 1944 Thelma came to Canada with her husband James and it was here that they started their new family. Thelma is survived by her daughter Dawn Cox and her son Jim Cunliffe. She will be forever remembered by her three grandchildren, Nathan, Andrew and Carolyn (Gord); two great grandchildren, Will and James; her sister Leila; brother-in-law Jerry; nephew Robin and her niece Vivienne and her family and nephew Neil (Debra) and their family. Thelma was predeceased by her husband James; her two grandchildren Marty and Michael; her sister Winnie and by her brother Andrew. A private Family Service will be held at a later date.
