Obituary of Robert Heilman
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Peter Heilman on Monday, March 26, 2007 at the age of 66 years after a brave battle with cancer.
Bob was born in Maple Creek, he moved to Fox Valley and then to Medicine Hat where he enjoyed a thirty year career with the ALCB before retiring. He was a skilled wood worker, an avid western movie buff and a sports fan. Bob now has skybox season tickets for the Stampeders, Flames and Medicine Hat Tigers games.
Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of forty-five years, Anne; their three sons and two daughters-in-law, Kenn and Karen Shippey-Heilman, Bob Heilman Jr. and Terry Heilman and Serena Wells and four grandchildren, Andrea, Brittany, Mason and Veloria. He is also survived by his brother James (Linda); sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Bob is now reunited with his parents Elizabeth and Steve Heilman.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church (321 – 90th Avenue S.E.) on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
