Obituary of Lillian Rae Morgan

Rae Morgan, beloved wife of George H. Morgan of Calgary, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2007 at the age of 72 years. Rae was born on August 10, 1934 in Moose Jaw, SK to Edith and Scott Edgar. Her mother’s rural teaching experiences took them to Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. Rae married George Morgan in 1953 in Nelson, BC. After spending fifteen years as a stay-at-home mom, Rae and her husband George worked as Hearing Aid Practitioners in Calgary, owning and operating Morgan’s Hearing Aid Centre for twenty-five years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Besides her loving husband George, Rae is survived by her children Ruth and Grant Fullmer, Scott and Colleen Morgan, Brian and Kim Morgan, Anne and Stuart Patterson; grandchildren, Scott, Amanda, Emily, and Victoria Fullmer, Faith and Grace Morgan, Blake, Justin and Paige Patterson, and Beth Morgan; and great-granddaughter Kate Simpson. She is also survived by two sisters, Mildred Savage and Muriel Edgar. Rae was predeceased by two brothers, Jack and Walter Edgar; and sister Margaret White. Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – 24 Street Chapel (10923 – 24 Street S.W.) on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
