Obituary of Clancy Yahn

Clancy Yahn, beloved husband of Mary Yahn of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at the age of 76 years after a courageous battle with ALS. Clancy retired as the Chief Training Officer with the City of Calgary Fire Department. Besides Mary, his loving wife of fifty-four years, Clancy is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Bill of Red Deer, Fred and Terry-Lynn and Stephen and Gail all of Calgary; seven grandchildren, Trevor, Shanna, Nick, Christina, Danielle, Mel and Austin; two great-grandchildren, Stryder and Logan. He is also survived by his sister Alice and brother Dale (June). Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the A.L.S. Society of Alberta, Suite 400, 320 – 23 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T2S 0J2.
