Obituary of Ethel Magdalene Kemp

Ethel Kemp passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2007, surrounded by her husband Ray and their three children, Leslie, Joanne and Jeff. Born on January 12, 1933 in Claybank, SK, Ethel spent her childhood in Claybank and most of her adult life in Calgary. She and her family lived in Victoria from 1964-67 and in Scarborough, ON from 1967 until 1973 when they moved back to Calgary. Ethel was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. A kind, warm, fun-loving and generous person, Ethel treasured times with family above all else. Blessed with loving memories of Ethel include her husband Ray, who shared over fifty wonderful years of marriage; her children, Leslie Kemp, Joanne Yauch and partner Randy, Jeff Kemp and wife Agi; her grandchildren, Heather and her partner Paul, and Christopher; and her brothers and their spouses, John and Rose Flegel, Wes Flagel, Jim and Monica Flegal, Erv and Jackie Flegel and Larry Flegel and Wendy Clark; and many other loving family members. Ethel was especially blessed five months ago with the birth of a great granddaughter, Riley, whose parents Heather and Paul brought her for many visits.
