Obituary of Noah Piercey

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Noah Wilfred Piercey announces his passing on Saturday, March 3, 2007. Noah was in his eightieth year, having been born on May 15, 1926 in Winterton, NF. Left to mourn his loss are his beloved wife of fifty-eight years Jessie Viola (nee Foster); two daughters and sons-in-law, Rosilyn and Kevin Kane of Calgary, Marilyn and Bram Lambert of Mount Pearl, NF; five grandchildren, Rick (Leslie-ann) Barron, Denise Barron(Andrew), Lisa (Craig) Parsons, Tanya (Shawn) Clancey, and Brad Lambert (Christina); and one very special great-grandson who bears his name Noah Barron. He also leaves to mourn his sisters, Blanche (Aubrey) Reid, Gladys (John) Ereault, Mary (Melvin) Sutton, Phyllis (Eddy) Preston, and May Jeans; brothers, William John (Margaret) Ern, Victor (Marjorie) Piercey; and many loving in-laws. Also surviving him are Leander (Dorothy) Foster, Joyce Martin, Gladys Foster, Alverna Newhook, Beatrice Foster and Bennett Foster. Noah was predeceased by his parents William George and Rosina Piercey (nee Welsh); sisters, Lillian Lambert (Ernest) and Ivy Willis (Mark); mother and father-in-law John and Susie Foster; Herb Foster, Raymond Foster, John Martin and Leslie Newhook. ?God saw that you were tired, So he beckoned you to come. You finally released your hold, And let his will be done. Although you?ve gone before us, You?ll be with us everyday. Our first Angel in Heaven You?ll always light our way.? Noah/Dad, We?ll always love you and cherish the memories you gave us. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY?S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.)
