Obituary of Doyle Miles Gordon Carson

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the sudden passing of Doyle Miles Gordon Carson, beloved husband, dad, grandpa, son and brother. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-seven years, Pauline; daughters Colleen (Mika) and Arminty (Fiancé Jarrod); grandsons Isaac, Noah, and Nathan; Mother Lorna; brother Gary (Janet); sister Arlene (Ron); and extended family and friends. Doyle graduated from the University of Alberta in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. He began his thirty-one year career with Dome Petroleum, which became part of Amoco, it then became BP. One of Doyle’s greatest joys was being a grandfather of three little boys. He spent many hours on the floor playing with Isaac and Noah, and was just getting to know Nathan. Doyle was a man of many passions: motorcycling, woodworking, leather working, gardening, fishing, golfing, skiing, family outings, social events with friends like Stage West, taking grand adventures on the high seas through reading, and playing tricks on and joking with family and friends. His gentle and loving presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Doyle’s Life will be held at St. Thomas United Church (100 Hawkwood Boulevard N.W.) on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
