On July 10, 1975 Dan was united in marriage to Doris and became an instant father when he adopted Bruce, Kristi and Heather. Dan graduated from U of S with a B.Comm and after a few years working for Revenue Canada moved to Calgary where he worked first for Westburne Drilling and then Texaco Canada for 20 years.
