Obituary of Claire Marieange Henshaw

Claire Henshaw, of Calgary passed away on February 27, 2007 at the age of 75 years. Claire was born on November 17, 1931 in Meota, SK to Agnes and Archille Cadrain. She lived in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Yukon and British Columbia. Claire worked as a cook in logging camps and restaurants, was a vet assistant, nursing assistant, managed a boarding house, fostered children and provided daycare to her grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, canning, pickling, baking, gardening, dancing, playing crib, games on her laptop and spending time with her family, grandchildren, friends and her pets. Claire was self taught in mastering the skill of crocheting and creating many beautiful treasures. She is survived by her children, Guy ( Geralyn ) L’Heureux of Magrath, AB., Blair (Karen) L’Heureux of MacKenzie, BC., Cindy (David ) Munns of Castlegar, BC., Cheryl (Bryan ) Hamm of DeWinton, AB., Gary (Cherie) Henshaw, Sharilyn Slade all of Abbotsford, BC; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sister Antoinette L’Heureux of North Battleford, SK. Claire was predeceased by her husbands, Alfred of twenty years, Peter Watters and Gaston L’Heureux.
