Obituary of Nancy Laurie Hamilton

Nancy Laurie Hamilton, of Calgary passed away on Sunday February 25, 2007, at the age of 50 years. Nancy was born in High River, AB, on September 9, 1956. She lived in many wonderful places. She was a healthcare worker for many years and was very involved with the H.E.U. Union and stood for her beliefs and rights. Her greatest achievement and source of pride were her four children. Camping trips were always an adventure with Nancy. She had a warm heart, she loved and cared for everyone she met and she always had welcoming arms and home. Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her life partner William Milward; son Colin Phillip Hamilton; daughter Tannis Laurie Hamilton; daughter Chelsey Grace Rose Friedenstab; daughter Cassandra Lynn Marie Friedenstab and son-n-law Donald Zachery Motz; and her four grandchildren. She will also be very much missed by her mother Grace White; sister and brother-in-law Terry Lynn and Frank Ovington; brother and sister-in-law Mike and Virginia White; as well as many nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her father Clarence Lloyd White and her brother Rick White. A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday March 2, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
