Obituary of Doris Johnson

Joan Johnson, of Calgary passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the age of 69 years. Joan was born on March 24, 1937 in North Battleford, SK. Upon completion of Teachers College she took her first teaching position in Barrhead, AB. There she met her husband-to-be Bob, and they were married in May of 1959. Bob and Joan continued their careers, moving to various locations throughout Alberta while raising their family. They retired here in Calgary enjoying time spent with family and friends. Joan will be remembered by her children, Brent Johnson (Vesna) of Calgary, Kathy Friederichsen (Dave) of Edmonton, Becky Johnson of Calgary; as well as her grand-daughters, Jessica and Rachel.
