Obituary of Turning Robe

Glenn at the age of 43 years passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2007 at the St. Paul Hospital in Vancouver, BC. Glenn was better known as “Beans” or “Rusty” to many of his family, relatives, and friends. Glenn is survived by his two lovely children, Michael (and his mother Flora Raine), and Beatrice (and her mother Doreen Tom); brothers Lloyd, Rex Cat Face, Hanks (Eileen) Eagle Head, and adopted brother Ross Olds; sisters Alexander Cat Face, Lena (Arnold) Running Rabbit, Shirley Bull Bear; uncles Edward Turning Robe, Harold (Catherine) Cat Face, and Alfred (Connie) Cat Face. Glenn was predeceased by his mother Beatrice Turning Robe, and father Michael Cat Face; sister Christina Bull Shields; maternal grandparents Olive and Joe Turning Robe; paternal grandparents Joe and Annie Cat Face, and great grand father One Gun; as well as numerous uncles, aunties and relatives. Glenn will also be remembered by his friends, too numerous to mention, and relatives from the Turning Robe, Axe, Breaker, Running Rabbit, Brass, Wright, Cat Face, Jacobs, and Medicine Shield families. The family would like to apologize if we have missed anyone. Wake Services will be held at the Bridge Community Hall (Siksika Nation, AB) on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the St. John the Divine Anglican Church (Siksika Nation, AB) on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Margaret Water Chief, Presider. Graveside Service to follow at Paul Little Walker Cemetery (Siksika Nation, AB). Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
