Obituary of Esther Baillie Anderson

It is with great sadness that the family of Esther Baillie Anderson announce her passing on Monday, February 19, 2007 at the age of 72 years. Esther was our ‘Great Scot’ who moved with her family from Scotland to Calgary in 1966. She lived her life in an honest and forthright manner. Esther was a force to be reckoned with and passed to her children and grandchildren a wonderful sense of humour and optimism, which will help us carry on through this difficult time. We will miss her terribly and for always she will be in our hearts. Esther will be sincerely missed by her family, her son Alastair Tregarthen (Loretta Secord); two daughters and sons-in-law Lorna and Rick Shibley and Louise and Mark Christie. She will also be truly missed by her grandchildren, Christine and Alex Shibley, Keith Christie, Hamish and Robert Tregarthen; as well as her many friends.
