Obituary of Sharron Lynn Jones

Sharron Lynn Jones of Calgary passed away peacefully at home on Monday February 19, 2007, after a long hard battle, at the age of 56 years. Sharron was born on June 13, 1950 at the Calgary General Hospital. She was raised in the Riverside area, attended Riverside Elementary, Langvin Junior High and Crescent Heights High School. She was an extraordinary cook who always enjoyed cooking family dinners. She always had beautiful flower gardens and a tastefully decorated home. She was a very compassionate and sympathetic person who could be counted on in all times of need. Sharron was a very strong person, she was loving, unselfish and fiercely loyal to her family and friends. She had a great sense of humour and a smile that could light up a room. She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-three years, Terry; her loving and devoted care-giving daughter Sheri; her sister Sandra and her family; her brother Brent (Debbie) and family; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. She was predeceased by her father Allen; her mother Mary; her brother Garry; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Sunday February 25, 2007, 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
