Obituary of Charlotte Ann Bot
Charlotte Bot, beloved wife of Edward (Ed) Bot of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at the age of 62 years.
Charlotte was born on January 11, 1945 in New Westminster, BC and grew up in Surrey and Delta, BC. She came to Calgary in 1963 where she met Ed and they were married in 1965. In 1969 they moved with their new family to Vancouver Island where Charlotte was active in the Nanaimo Jaycees. They returned to Calgary in 1977 and she worked for Tupperware for a number of years. Charlotte also worked for Dairy World and then joined her husband in the family business Coronado Stone Products. Charlotte’s pride and joy was her grandchildren. She and Ed also enjoyed many trips together across the world. Besides her loving husband Ed, Charlotte is also survived by her children, Randy Bot (Rochelle Taylor), Sandra Sniher (Trent) and Tammy Surratt (Lloyd); and her grandchildren, Cody, Zachary, Amanda, Nicole, Samantha, Brady, and Brooklynn. She is also survived by her mother Mary Phillips; three brothers, Gerry Phillips, Tim Phillips and Nick Phillips Jr.; and a sister Wendy Collison. She was predeceased by her father Nick Phillips.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
