Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Hayes

Margaret Hayes of Calgary passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the age of 76 years. Margaret enjoyed many retirement years here in Calgary. She was an active member and volunteer with Confederation Park Senior Centre. She loved to go old time dancing whenever she could. Margaret is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara Hayes and Joe Thauberger, of Regina, and Betty and Terry Buchanan, of Calgary; four grandchildren and their spouses, Tracy (Richard), Cary (Rochelle), Adam (Brooke) and Amy (Mike); her great-grandson Gage; two brothers, Newt (Meryl) McCrae and Francis McCrae; her beloved friend Fred Bray; as well as her extended family, Erik, Anna, Jay and Frances Thauberger, Patsy and Jim Smith and Roy and Yvette Hayes. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Wilfred in 1996.
