Obituary of Lucy Rose Wright

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Lucy Rose Wright, beloved wife of Clarence for 57 years, on Thursday, February 8, 2007. Lucy was born in Warner, AB on May 26, 1920. She was a wonderful wife and great mom. Besides her beloved husband, Clarence, Lucy is survived by eight children, Roxanne (John Card), Beverley, Maurice (Gwen), and Laura, all of Calgary, Marilyn (Grant Campbell), of Kelowna, BC, Brenda (Dan Lefaivre), of St. Albert, Linda (David Smith), of Surrey, BC, and Annette (Mel Wirth), of Carstairs, AB; as well as nineteen grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Mary, Adeline, and Bernadine. Lucy was predeceased by son, Garry; son-in-law, Gil Winters; parents Charles and Anna Troidl; brothers, George, Ambrose, and William; and sister, Pauline. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) today on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church (2424 – 24th Avenue N.W.) on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m., with Father Silvano Vargas Presiding.
