Obituary of Roland Dinney

Roland Claude Dinney (Bud) beloved husband of May Dinney of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the age of 79 years. Bud was born and raised in Vancouver. He served in the Navy, spending time overseas in England. Bud also belonged to CNAG. He worked as a sheet metal aircraft mechanic with various airlines for thirty-two years. Besides May, his loving wife of fifty years, Bud is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Susan and John Taylor of Edmonton and his son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Donna Dinney of Hoosier, SK; four grandchildren, Janene Saunders, Sarah Taylor, Geri Dinney and Derek Dinney. He is also survived by two sisters, Margery Neyedli and Georgina Wardrop, both of Vancouver as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bud was predeceased by his brother Jack. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
