Obituary of Sylvia Dorothy Long

Sylvia Dorothy Long (nee Glynn) of Calgary passed away peacefully on Monday, February 5, 2007 at the age of 87 years. Sylvia was born on October 11, 1919 in Fielding, SK. Her love of a good game of bridge, her friendships, neighbours and church kept her active and in her own home until the last month. Sylvia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law James (Jim) and Carol, of Calgary; and two grandchildren Kyle and Allison. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Hugh and Joan Glynn, of Ottawa, ON; and many special nieces and nephews. Sylvia was predeceased by her husband James Allan Long, brother Douglas and two sisters Rita and Eileen. Funeral Services will be held at Church of the Good Shepherd (408 – 38th Street S.W.) on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
