Obituary of Deirdre Frances Wandler
Deirdre Frances Wandler, cherished wife of Joe, of Calgary passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2007 at the age of 62 years.
Besides her loving husband, Deirdre is survived by her mother, Marion Levins, of Halifax, NS; her brother Ken and sister-in-law Mary Levins. Also left to cherish her memory are her uncles and aunts, special cousins, nieces, nephews and countless wonderful friends. Deirdre was predeceased by her father John R. Levins.
Deirdre’s joie de vivre was evident in her thirty-four years dedicated to teaching with the Calgary Catholic Board of Education, her love of travel and her time spent with her many close friends.
Special thanks to Dr. Scot Dowden for his untiring personal and professional support, to nurses Wendy and Charlene and other staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre for their compassion and care.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church (2424 – 24th Avenue N.W.) on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
