Obituary of Elizabeth Thwaites Chalmers

Elizabeth Chalmers, of Airdrie, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2007 at the age of 78 years. Elizabeth was born July 24, 1928, in Paris, Ontario. She came to Airdrie with her daughter, Mariana, and son-in-law, Robert, later moving to the Bethany Care Centre, where she resided until her passing. She was a kind and loving person who will be dearly missed. Elizabeth is remembered by her children, Mariana (Robert) Cummings, of Airdrie; Lisa Chalmers (Don), of Vancouver; Angus Chalmers, of Airdrie; and Hamish (Judith) Chalmers, of Montreal. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew. Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, Ruby and Matthew Muir, and her sister, Margaret Kennard.
