Mary Sophia Franssen (Mae) of Calgary passed away on Monday, January 29, 2007 at the age of 89 years. Mae was born October 26, 1917 in Cornation, Alberta. After marrying Norbert Franssen they lived and raised their family in Calgary. Mae loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loyal member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Mae is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Martin and Carol, James and Dianne and Robert and Joanne, all of Calgary; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Marjorie Cassidy and Joey and Marlene Cassidy, both of Calgary. She was predeceased by her husband Norbert.
