Obituary of Rodolfo Balading Gorembalem

Rodolfo Gorembalem, beloved husband of Betty of Calgary passed away on January 28, 2007, at the age of 48 years. Prior to immigrating to Calgary from the Philippines, Rodolfo practised medicine for twelve years. After moving to Calgary, he worked as the Transplant Manager/Coordinator at the Lions Eye Bank, as a Senior Tissue Specialist at the Comprehensive Tissue Centre in the University of Alberta, and, most currently, as a Physician Assistant at the Foothills Medical Centre. Rodolfo enjoyed singing karaoke with his family and friends. Besides his loving wife, Betty, Rodolfo is remembered by his daughters, Nikki Ivana and Raisa Idonah, and son, Jaromir. He is also survived by his mother, Filomena Gorembalem, of Calgary; sister and brother-in-law, Aida and Reynaldo Ramos, of Calgary; three nephews, Jasper Ramos, Alvin Raymond Ramos, and Elmer Ramos; and niece Aira Ramos. Rodolfo will be sadly missed by family and friends.
